Did I just recieve your blessings, my darling? Something within feels relieving, empowering, encouraging. It’s almost as if I can finally spread my wings. And no, not those wings. I haven’t taken those back just yet.

These new roads I’ve been taking felt treacherous at first. Fear of the unknown, likely. But today, I’m no longer worried. The darkness has cleared, and as I look ahead the path is more magical than I first noticed.

Walking blind is horrifying. To rely on strength and resilience alone seems admirable at first, but soon the mere act of surviving rather than thriving can drain a man of what limited life he has left. No longer. This darkness has lifted. Now there is sight. And with sight, now there is direction.

I will pray to Eluna tonight. She’s always guided me. It’s about time I honour her grace. Pray with me tonight, my darling. The goddess has done nothing but protect us.
